HOW DO I GET INVITED?

• VIA CURRENT REGISTERED TEAMS: The primary way to get invited to the Fireball Run is to “know someone” and get invited by referral through a currently registered team. Fireball Run, in essence, is a private club and its members have the authority to provide access to others.

• VIA SPONSOR INVITATIONS: Select sponsors may submit candidates for consideration by the selection committee to participate.

• VIA ORGANIZER INVITATIONS: The Organizers of Fireball Run may also submit names for consideration; however this method is exclusively reserved for high profile candidates.

• VIA WEB & SPACE AVAILABLE APPLICANTS: Web application is the hardest way to acquire an invitation. Web applicants are considered only after all other candidates have been reviewed and only “if” entries remain. Space Available applicants are those waiting in line for a last minute team cancellation. “Qualified” space available applicants submit a $500.00 refundable deposit; if space becomes available applicant teams must pay full entry within 24 hours or they will lose the deposit. If no space exists within 48 hours of the event, deposits are fully refunded.

IS THIS A SAFE EVENT? IS IT SANCTIONED?

Yes. Unlike most open road rallies, the Fireball Run is considered a safe event by its insurance partner, Insurance Office of America. The rally is one of only a handful of sanctioned open road events and the only one of its kind. Fireball Run is sanctioned by Competition Motorsports Association (COMMA), who oversee the safety of our track racing events. 

CAN I APPEAL A DECISION?

No. There is no appeal process regarding entry into the Fireball Run. Fireball Run is a private event, a decision by the selection committee, or rally organizers are final.

WHAT IF I AM SELECTED BUT CAN NO LONGER ATTEND?

There are no refunds with the exception of event cancellation by its organizers.

IF I AM REGISTERED AND CANNOT ATTEND, MAY I SUBSTITUTE ANOTHER NAME?

If you are the main “approved” invitee then, no, you may not substitute yourself with another person. If the main invitee does not register and participate on the day of the event, then the team is disqualified without refund.

CAN I REPLACE A TEAM MATE?

Yes. The only individual required to participate is the actual invitee. You may remove and replace your team mates at your discretion up to the day of the event so long as they have the appropriate credentials and have satisfied all driver requirements. 

DO YOU PROVIDE THE VEHICLE?

No. Acquisition of a vehicle is your sole responsibility.

CAN I SWAP VEHICLES?

Yes and No. You are allowed to change vehicles prior to tech inspection on the first day of the event. However once the vehicle has been inspected and approved, you are no longer able to change vehicles. The vehicle you begin the event with is the vehicle you must finish the event with.

MAY I HAVE MY OWN SPONSORS?

Yes, so long as they do not conflict with FBR official sponsors. You may also display your own logo decals. However, remember; all entries must apply all official FBR sponsor decals to very specific areas. You may not compromise the display of the official sponsors for your personal sponsors. FBR sponsors allow us to keep our entry fee low for a luxury class event. If this does not meet with your approval, then you might consider several other notable rallies which do not make such mandates:

WILL YOU ASSIST ME WITH GETTING SPONSORS?

No. If you feel you must have sponsors, then it is your sole responsibility.

IT WOULD SEEM YOU HAVE TO BE A BIG WHEEL TO GET IN- WHY?

Wheels come in all sizes. The level of one's wealth doesn't really matter, but the likeness of mind is very important to our players and thus event organizers. Therefore, participation in the Fireball Run is limited to business and community leaders and key corporate decision makers. The Fireball Run wants all its competitors to be of like mind and position. Participation in the Fireball Run is not by any means cheap. Those selected to enter do so comfortably without being unnecessarily stressed. Participants inevitably want to network and build friendships with those who can relate from a level of experience. Indifferent to our entry process is age, sex, race, religion, or sexual orientation. Effective and successful leadership comes in all shapes, sizes, and colors. Arrogance however has no place in this event; if you feel you are better than others due to your financial status or position, then there is no place for you in the Fireball Run. Remember, there is a significant difference between arrogance and pride.

WHAT OTHER FEES COULD IMPACT MY DECISION TO PARTICIPATE?

• Fuel.

• Unexpected break downs, flats, towing.

• Driving schools.

• Transportation fees for your vehicle to/ from starting and finish line cities.

• Air transportation (for those shipping vehicles).

• Other normal related travel expenses.

WHAT IF I HAVE FAMILY OR FRIENDS WHO WANT TO ATTEND THE RECEPTIONS?

Everyone is welcome to the public events. A limited number of friends or family are welcome to join you at either the kick-off and finish line private events for a nominal fee. The pre-arrival VIP private reception is a ticketed event. This is a transcontinental rally and we understand you may have friends or family along the route who would like to attend one of the receptions; in this case, tickets for attendance can be made available for $150.00 each. In any case you must be at least 21 to attend the private receptions or events.

I HAVE A FRIEND WHO WANTS TO ENTER THEIR OWN TEAM- HOW DO THEY GET IN?

The Fireball Run is all about “connections” and networking. Registered teams are allowed to invite two other teams to participate in the event, on a space available basis, so long as they qualify. Think “carefully” about your candidate- do not invite anyone who may embarrass you or the event.

DO YOU RECOMMEND TRAVEL INSURANCE?

Yes. Expect the unexpected.
