The Fireball Run is an invitational interactive game played by responsible
adults. FIREBALL RUN IS NOT AN ILLEGAL ROAD RACE. Applications are reviewed
by a selection committee comprised of the previous year's competitors,
as well as the organizers. The decision of the selection committee is
final- there is no appeal process.
INDIVIDUAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Invitation to compete.
Minimum age requirement is 25.
Doctor's note with permission to compete in a physically challenging
endurance event.
Track Driver: Must have completed an approved two-day road course
track driving school prior to events start.
Transit Drivers: Must complete a hands-on two day driver improvement
course prior to the event. We do not accept ONLINE schools.
Drivers License valid in all 50 states.
Sign the indemnification & liability waiver.
Each individual must carry $500,000.00 driver liability.
For consideration, main invitee must be a: Business Owner, Proprietor,
Partner, Majority Corporate Stock Holder/ Board Member, C-Class Executive
or key corporate decision maker, person of independent wealth, Celebrity,
Community leader, or Elected Official.
TEAM REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum two drivers, maximum four* (entry fee includes three persons).
SFI rated single layer fire retardant driving suit (track driver only).
Snell approved CAR racing helmet (track drive only).
*A fourth team member can be added for an additional $1000.00
VEHICLE REQUIREMENTS:
Must be FULLY insured ($500,000.00 liability per individual).
Must meet DOT road worthy standards.
Must apply Fireball Run sponsor decals to approved areas on vehicle.
Reflective triangle or four highway flares.
Working seat belts; OEM units, or approved racing belts.
First aid kit.
All head, tail, and directional lights must be operational.
Min. 2lb dry chemical fire extinguisher.
New tires.
Soft top vehicles competing in track events must have driver's side
roll bar.
OFFICIAL SPONSOR DECAL PLACEMENT:
All teams are required to apply the official Fireball Run sponsor
decals to SPECIFICALLY designated areas on the vehicle. Decals are removable
and will not harm the paint on your vehicle. FBR sponsor decals must
be placed on the driver's left AND passenger right of the vehicle. You
may not place official FBR sponsor logos on the rear, top, hood, or under
the vehicle.
The windshield eye brow is exclusively reserved for FBR's title
sponsor.
OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT:
You may tow a trailer or a storage unit.
Racing tires or slicks.
Cellular phone or courier pigeon.
GPS device.
Laptop computer with internet access.
STRICKTLY FORBIDDEN:
Support or chase crews. No entourages.
Nitrous Oxide use.
Driving under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs.
