Team driver is Astronaut Jon McBride, Shuttle Pilot for Atlantis in 1984 and now Director of Astronaut Education at Kennedy Space Center; co-pilot is Bonnie King, Director for Film and Special Events for the Space Coast tourism office. Both of these space enthusiasts treasure children and hope this race will reunite families.
