What is the FIREBALL RUN Experience?
FIREBALL RUN Experience™ similar to a scavenger hunt. While the Experience is played and scored like FIREBALL RUN Adventurally, it is NOT the magnitude of the original 8-day production, which is an EPIC highly interactive game. Experience™ is a lighter version of Adventurally. To navigate the route and locate points-of-interest, Teams solve clues in the form of “missions”.
Is FIREBALL RUN a ROAD RACE?
NO, it is an adventure game. Driving speeds are monitored by RealTrackGPS. Dangerous behavior is not tolerated. The game can be played within the speed limit.
Are the clues hard?
Not really, but they are not straight forward either, some are outright tricky. You will need internet via cell phone, tablet, or laptop to do a bit of GOOGELING to solve them. You are welcome to phone friends, family, or 5th graders for answers. If all else fails just call the FIREBALL RUN answer line for another clue or the answer and location.
What are the motoring experiences? How hard is it on my ride?
They are scored but optional events anyone and any vehicle can do; wet skid (drive in a circle on wet pavement), autocross (orange cones), and drag strip (step on the gas and go straight). Racing experience is not required. Drive at speeds comfortable to you and your vehicle.
What should I expect from participation?
Have a great attitude and you'll have a great time. Teams start as strangers and finish as friends in a collaborative, competitive, and interactive journey. You are not touring; you are playing, interacting, and getting hands on.
Is physical activity involved?
Some missions involve light physical activity; getting out of the vehicle and walking short distances for a photo op.
Are there prizes for winning?
You play for the experience, bragging rights, and coveted trophies. It is illegal to award prizes for open road activities.
How long is the production?
Three days; from Tuesday 11am registration to the Thursday Barrett-Jackson Evening Gala; roughly 300 miles through Central and South Florida. Green flag is typically 10am in one city and finishes at 2-3pm in the next, factor the dinner reception, and all told it's over by 4-6 pm after which is free time to explore the city.
Is it safe?
The production is carefully scripted, planned, and rehearsed. However driving a motor vehicle can be dangerous. Drivers must obey all traffic laws. Dangerous behavior or attitude can result in removal without refund. FIREBALL RUN has been accident free since its beginning.
Who should my co-driver be?
A matching personality above all. If you are competitive bring someone competitive, if you are laid back bring someone laid back. There are many husband/wife, brother/sister, and buddy teams. 2-3 person teams work best.
What kind of person enters FIREBALL RUN Experience?
Those with a drive for adventure, passion for charity, and enjoy driving their favorite ride; you don't need to be an auto enthusiast or a gear head. FIREBALL RUN is an eccentric mix of fun, friendly, and successful people. ARROGANCE is forbidden.
What if I register but can't make it?
FIREBALL RUN Experience is customized the moment you become a member. There are no refunds or cancellations. If driver requirements are not met by March 15th the entry and registration fee is forfeited. Travel insurance is suggested.
Can I participate without a co-driver?

Is training required?
No; FIREBALL RUN Experience™ is open to anyone 18 or over possessing a valid driver’s license.
